Kopi Desa in Sayan

Nice cosy place to eat. More real, less hipster than others. Food was tastey. Local foods being bigger portions. Going back for coffee in the morning. So its got repeat customers in us.

Coffee was ok. Decor a bit strange, seating not so comfortable. Staff were nice. But, I won't return. Coffee and decor are priorities for me.

Very good food. Came out pretty quick. Also lots of healthy options. Best part is it was a 5 minute walk from the air B&B

I stopped in thinking I would banana pancake for breakfast however, their "American" breakfast was better value so I ordered that!You have a choice of an omelette or a banana pancake and scrambled eggs or toast. It also came with a fruit salad and an Americano all for $60K.I chose the banana pancake and scrambled eggs. The pancake was delicious. It was topped with cinnamon and sugar along with shredded coconut. I asked for a side of sambal for the eggs and it was fresh and spicy. The Americano was the best that I have had in the six weeks we have been here!Both times I have stopped in the service has been excellent!

Amazing food and great service. Stayed just down the road from this cafe and came every night to grab a drink with friends. The Wifi was fast and the staff were very friendly.

Great coffee and food, and an equally great vibe. If you want to just chill for a while, this is the place. I love the coffee, but the fruit pancake, the corn fritters, the cappuccino shake and even the cinnamon toast are also wonderful.

Great place! Good food, juices and smoothies. My family and I ate there 4 or 5 times and everything from breakfast to lunch and dinner was excellent.

Love love looooooove this place! I stayed in this village for a week and this is my favorite place. Food is amazing, relaxing vibe, they don't rush you or bother you. I spent a few hours a day just to read a book and it was one of my favorite moments of the trip (the other was surfing!). You must try their Health 2 drink. It's amazing!!! I had chicken and it was really good too.

A calm oasis. We tried the gado gado and the corn fritters. Delicious. As were the lassi. :-)

On the way to our villa, our taxi driver spotted Kopi Desa and repeated the name to himself several times. It peaked our curiosity enough to try it the next day and we've been back 4 times already. Really nice and personable staff, friendly dogs and some of the best banana pancakes and iced lattes I ever did have! Check this place out next time you are in the Penenstanan village.

This place is sweet...most of the times quiet and has an amazing Greek Salad and juices! Everything is served with a smile!Sometimes it is hard to find someone to pay the bill or add something...but you can always find them!

You must have your time here at least 5 times during your stay. I stayed 10 days at villa in Ubud and had my brunch and dinner everyday here. I met amazing guys and the memory became big part of my travel.Foods and beverages are strongly important and you will not miss them too. Loved Kopi Desa. It was a recomendation and didn't dissapoint. Menu is diverse, both indonesian and western food with great desserts and amazing natural juices, which i was craving a lot and i loved it!Ordered Chicken Fried Noodles, Spring Rolls and Green Salad with 2 natural juices ( Glow and Power Green). Cute little cafe, with comfy sofas and chairs. Nice and fast service and good prices. I would recommend it, it deserves a visit, peaceful and chill.Greetings & thanks!

Best coffee and lemon tart in Penestanan. We walk 45 minutes across the padi fields to get thete for morning tea. Yummo!

Best breakfast in Penestanan and worth a stroll through the rice paddies from Sayan to get to. The avocado on toast with poached egg is as good as it gets, as are the fruit lassies and the Bali coffee and lattes. Very extensive menu with breakfast and regular Indonesian staples at a crazy cheap price, and big portions. Highly recommend it. Opens at 7am. Coco the dog is most grateful for the occasional satay too 😊.

Nice place to have a drink. One the first day in Bali we had a breakfast over here. The banana pancake is delicious. The fruit is very fresh. We also had here 1 dinner. Everything was good over here!

I went here when it was raining and bought some coconuts. I didn't feel tempted to eat there or come back for more. The owners are just hanging a bit on the couch, don't really make you feel welcome. The place is fine though.

Nice ambience, feels very relaxing within an interior mostly made of bamboo and off-form concrete. Great service and very friendly staff. Food is not bad too, try their banana cake!

Varied menu. Quite a selection of European style food. Very good coffee. Friendly staff and owner. Mid price. Reasonable value for Ubud. I often go there.

Great coffee and food. The Cappuccino Marble cake is to die for! Avocado Panini and Veggie Nasi Goreng were just as delicious. Staff is wonderful. An overall great atmosphere.

Good food for a good price don't sit in the first road next to the street due to high traffic on the road. The personal sit really friendly and speaks enough English to get it order done and a little chat with them. If u want to get a good Mia goreng go there.

Tasty sandwiches. Service very poor and too slow. Place to go if you are willing to wait for over 40 min for a simple sandwich

I am staying close by and have eaten here a couple of times, both meals were delicious. I particularly liked the nasi campur ayam, so tasty and large serving! Nice place to just sit and read as well. I'm sure I'll be back again before I leave here.

Very nice place where you can enjoy some food or just a drink. Movie nights on monday/tuesday and wednesday. Place à very calm and sometimes some People are singing and play guitare together. Definitively have to come here

Quiet place with good ambiance. They only had 2 options for pastries when we got there. I ordered a coffee mocha and my wife ordered hot choco. I liked her hot choco more.

Nice little place in the outskirts of Ubud. The chicken burger I ordered was fine, but not great. Portions in this restaurant are on the smaller side and their prices are on the higher side. You can get more and much better food for this price in Ubud. The atmosphere is good though, and the staff has been extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Everything but the food deserves 5 stars - so maybe just go there for the coffee. It's called KOPI Desa after all.

A humble and unpretentious cafe for an easy, early morning, breakfast. Staff is happy and friendly, music sometimes (not always) nice --depending who's in charge on that day--

The drink and food are cheap but so tasty!! Love my latte..super love the ambiance there.. Spent hours by laying down on the sofa with my laptop..
